Sustainable Energy Resources

An estimated 1.5 billion tons of municipal solid waste, green waste, sewage sludge, plastics, auto fluff, agricultural, forestry and other waste products, including some 300 million used tires, are generated in the United States each year. 320 million tons are readily available for use in the production of liquid and electric energy.

And when organic waste materials are utilized as fuel, the technology supports the natural environmental cycle of CO2 generation and recovery.

The technology is a generation beyond cellulosic ethanol—which is generally defined as the production of ethanol from purpose-grown plant materials—a process many authorities believe is still five-to-seven years away.

In addition, America has some 267 billion tons of recoverable coal reserves, more than a 300-year supply. Currently, the combustion of coal to create electricity represents the nation’s greatest source of industrial pollution. Millions of dollars are being spent to develop combined cycle coal gasification projects, but these technologies must still combust the resulting syngas to generate electricity. The BRI Process uses waste heat, rather than combustion, to create the high temperature steam that drives electrical turbines.

It is the only technology that can blend any of the resources listed above as feedstocks—and the only technology that can simultaneously co-produce renewable liquid energy, green power and other products from organic wastes.

It could provide the nation’s farmers and dairy industries with productive alternatives to the open-field burning of agricultural residues and the disposal of animal wastes.

It could extend by up to 80% the useful lives of existing landfills, while at the same time, lowering the cost of waste transport and disposal for municipalities, and it can convert landfill gas (i.e., methane, a precursor of greenhouse gases 21 times more powerful than CO2) into ethanol. Ultimately, it will enable the world to reclaim approximately 80% of the materials in existing landfills (the organic fraction) for use in the production of energy.

It holds promise to eliminate the need for public agencies to spread sewage sludge on agricultural lands, usually in some other county or state than their own.

Clearly, America has enough domestic resources to produce all of its liquid energy needs from non-petroleum sources.

  4. Looking forward to seeing what gets published next month, and a look at goodscarthub extended that anticipation across the broader site, finding myself looking forward to a sites future content rather than just consuming its existing content is a stronger commitment level than I usually reach with new finds and this site triggered that.

  5. Reading this between meetings turned out to be the most useful thing I did all afternoon, and a stop at seodrift kept that productivity feeling going, content can sometimes outperform actual work in terms of what gets accomplished mentally and this site managed that today which is genuinely a high bar to clear consistently.

  7. A nicely understated post that does not shout for attention, and a look at linkstrike maintained the same quiet quality, understatement is a stylistic choice that distinguishes serious writing from attention seeking writing and this site has clearly committed to the understated approach as a core editorial value rather than just a phase.

  8. Genuinely useful read, the points are practical and easy to apply right away, and a quick look at rapidcartcenter confirmed that this site is consistent in that approach, looking forward to digging through the rest of it when I get the chance to sit down properly later in the week or this weekend.

  11. Now sitting with the thoughts the post triggered rather than rushing on to the next thing, and a stop at linkscale extended that reflective pause, content that earns time for thought after closing the tab is content of higher value than the merely interesting and this site has clearly produced that lasting effect today.

  19. Reading this slowly because the writing rewards a slower pace, and a stop at linkpush did the same, the pace at which I read content is something I now use as a quality signal and writing that earns a slower pace earns my attention as a reader looking for substance these days.

  25. Clean writing, easy to read, and never tries too hard to impress, that combination is harder to find than people think, and after my time on trendycartfactory I am sure this site treats its readers well, no flashy tricks just useful content done right which is honestly all I want online.

  28. Алкогольная зависимость сопровождается не только физическими, но и глубокими психоэмоциональными проблемами. Психотерапевтическая помощь играет важную роль в лечении, помогая пациенту осознать причины зависимости и разработать стратегии для предотвращения рецидивов.

  29. Quiet confidence runs through the whole post, no need to shout to make the points stick, and a stop at leadprism carried that same restrained voice forward, content that respects the reader by trusting its own substance rather than dressing it up in theatrical language is what I look for online and rarely actually find these days.

  30. Without comparing too aggressively to other sources this one stands out for the right reasons, and a look at twilightoakgoods continued that distinctive quality, content that distinguishes itself through substance rather than style tricks is content with lasting differentiation and this site has clearly chosen substance based differentiation as its core editorial strategy.

  36. Going to come back when I have more time to read carefully, the post deserves more than a quick scan, and a stop at silkstonegoodsatelier reinforced that, this is the kind of site that rewards a slower read which is hard to find in this fast paced corner of the internet but really worthwhile.

  46. Now realising the topic deserved better treatment than it has been getting elsewhere, and a look at rubyorchardtradegallery extended that broader recognition, content that exposes the gap between actual quality and average quality elsewhere is doing the quiet work of raising standards and this site is contributing to that elevation in its own corner.
