Sustainable Energy Resources

An estimated 1.5 billion tons of municipal solid waste, green waste, sewage sludge, plastics, auto fluff, agricultural, forestry and other waste products, including some 300 million used tires, are generated in the United States each year. 320 million tons are readily available for use in the production of liquid and electric energy.

And when organic waste materials are utilized as fuel, the technology supports the natural environmental cycle of CO2 generation and recovery.

The technology is a generation beyond cellulosic ethanol—which is generally defined as the production of ethanol from purpose-grown plant materials—a process many authorities believe is still five-to-seven years away.

In addition, America has some 267 billion tons of recoverable coal reserves, more than a 300-year supply. Currently, the combustion of coal to create electricity represents the nation’s greatest source of industrial pollution. Millions of dollars are being spent to develop combined cycle coal gasification projects, but these technologies must still combust the resulting syngas to generate electricity. The BRI Process uses waste heat, rather than combustion, to create the high temperature steam that drives electrical turbines.

It is the only technology that can blend any of the resources listed above as feedstocks—and the only technology that can simultaneously co-produce renewable liquid energy, green power and other products from organic wastes.

It could provide the nation’s farmers and dairy industries with productive alternatives to the open-field burning of agricultural residues and the disposal of animal wastes.

It could extend by up to 80% the useful lives of existing landfills, while at the same time, lowering the cost of waste transport and disposal for municipalities, and it can convert landfill gas (i.e., methane, a precursor of greenhouse gases 21 times more powerful than CO2) into ethanol. Ultimately, it will enable the world to reclaim approximately 80% of the materials in existing landfills (the organic fraction) for use in the production of energy.

It holds promise to eliminate the need for public agencies to spread sewage sludge on agricultural lands, usually in some other county or state than their own.

Clearly, America has enough domestic resources to produce all of its liquid energy needs from non-petroleum sources.

  5. The post made the topic feel approachable without making it feel trivial, that is a fine balance, and a stop at rustpick maintained the same balance, finding the middle ground between welcoming and serious is genuinely difficult and the writers here have clearly figured out how to consistently hit it well across many different posts.

  6. Solid stuff, the kind of post that I will probably refer back to later this month when the topic comes up again, and a look at linensave only confirmed I should bookmark the site as a whole rather than just this single page for future reference and use across coming weeks.

  7. В этой статье мы обсудим процесс восстановления после зависимостей, акцентируя внимание на различных методах и подходах к реабилитации. Читатели узнают, как создать план выздоровления и использовать полезные ресурсы для достижения устойчивых изменений.

  8. My usual response to new bookmarks is to forget them but this one I have already returned to twice, and a look at zingtorch pulled me back a third time, the actual return rate to bookmarked sites is the real measure of value and this one is clearing that measure at a notable rate already.

  11. Grateful for posts like this one, they remind me there are still places online run by people who care about quality, and a look at rankseller reflected the same standards, you can tell the difference between content made for readers and content made just for search engines today and this is the former.

  13. Quality you can feel from the first paragraph, the writer clearly knows the topic and how to share it, and a quick look at royaltrendstation confirmed the same depth runs throughout the rest of the site as well which is rare and worth pointing out when it happens online for any reader passing through.

  14. Thanks for putting in the work to make this approachable, plenty of sites cover the same ground but most do it badly, and a quick visit to kilozen confirmed this one stands apart, simple language and useful examples without anyone trying to sell me anything along the way which I really appreciated.

  16. Appreciated how the writer anticipated the questions a reader might have along the way, and a stop at fastcartcenter continued that thoughtful approach, you can tell when content has been edited with the reader in mind versus just published as a first draft and this is clearly the former approach across what I read.

  19. Genuinely good work, the kind that holds up over multiple readings without losing its appeal, and a stop at premiumcartarena kept that going, definitely a site I will be returning to and probably mentioning to others who work in or care about this particular area of interest today and in coming weeks.

  27. Skipped the comments to avoid spoilers and came back later to find them genuinely worth reading, and a stop at voltprobe extended that surprised respect, when the discussion below a post matches the quality of the post itself you have found something special and this site appears to attract that kind of audience.

  33. Felt the post had been written without using a single buzzword, and a look at sleekgain continued that clean vocabulary, content free of jargon and trendy phrases reads better and ages better and this site has clearly committed to a vocabulary that will not feel dated in three years which is impressive editorially.

  35. Reading this gave me material for a conversation I needed to have anyway, and a stop at fluxfuel added even more talking points, content that connects to upcoming social or professional needs rather than just being interesting in the abstract is the kind that earns priority placement in my attention these days routinely.

  39. Going to share this with a friend who has been asking the same questions for a while now, and a stop at amploom added a few more pages I will pass along too, this is the kind of generous information that earns a small thank you from me right now and again later this week.

  44. This filled in a gap in my understanding that I had not even noticed was there, and a stop at urbancrestemporium did the same, the kind of post that gives you more than you expected when you first clicked through from somewhere else, a real find for anyone curious about the area covered here.

  48. Делаешь ставки? ставки на юфс аналитика поединков, прогнозы, коэффициенты букмекеров и разборы боев. Следите за предстоящими турнирами, статистикой бойцов и делайте ставки на главные события мира единоборств.

  49. Liked how the post handled an objection I was forming as I read, and a stop at zapflux similarly anticipated where my thinking was going next, the rare writer who can predict reader concerns and address them in advance is doing something most online content fails to do despite that being basic editorial work.

  50. Felt the writer respected the topic without being precious about it, and a look at velvetshorecollective continued that respectful but unfussy treatment, finding the right register for serious topics is hard and this site has clearly figured out how to take the topic seriously while still being readable for casual visitors regularly.
